Music is, it's in everything,

Can you imagine going to a movie and

So, you know, pick your favourite movie

the latest of, you know,

or a movie by Hans Zimmer, you know, just

those movies would be absolutely nothing.

It's exactly the same for the pump

music here in the UK and around the world.

Those marching aviators or troops.

That beat of those military marches is

and it will continue.

It's what people want, want to see.

It makes you stand up taller,

part of the organisation.

There's a real esprit de corps and

music within the forces.

It's a moral component really of what

Last sort of probably two decades now.

Our war role, we are

So what that means that in a sort

we would

along to sort of medical aid, so therefore

decontaminated sufficiently so therefore

And that's our war role, as we call it.

So we train for that every year

And that's a role that not only

but the other bands within the services

So on a regular basis we will work

down at Bryson.

So if we were called upon,

Just like myself,

We're musicians, we want to perform

an avenue to perform.

And that's at numerous different events,

in London or whether it's across

And musicians really latch onto that.

We attract the highest calibre

and they want to be part of music services

get a job or within music services

the high level state events,

the concerts, the small ensembles,

whether it's from royalty or to a local

that's what keeps them enthused.

They're doing their hobby and they're

and they are getting to see and play

in civilian street that they

So the team are energised, enthusiastic,

and thankfully, you know,

they enjoy what they do.

So they make my job very easy.
